Holly Newman-Stump

Best in Show, to be featured in our exhibit that will travel around southern IN this winter. Holly’s description: This photo was taken on our small farm, Morning Glory Locavore, in South Western Bartholomew County. It is an heirloom variety dent corn, Bloody Butcher. I love the beautiful color of the corn and the taste is remarkable. We used it to make our homemade grits and corn meal. Corn bread from home grown corn is a real treat. Growing our own food has been a passion of mine, providing sustenance for my family and community. Growing food is a beautiful process and I truly enjoy documenting the growing season through photography. Small farms and gardens are treasures in Indiana.
