Vernal pools. Ridgetop meadows. Wetlands. Quiet paths through deciduous forests. Our conserved land protects many of Southeast Indiana’s treasures. The properties that are open to the public are highlighted on the map below. We have photos and stories to help you prepare for your adventure – and more resources coming soon.
A note on adventuring: OHC properties are primarily natural areas with few (or no) amenities. Some have trails and/or off-road parking, but most do not. Have fun and explore at your own risk or join us for one of our events on our conserved land.

You’re welcome to visit many of our properties on your own, or you can visit during one of our events. We host naturalist walks, hikes, hands-on DIY workshops, and much more on our properties each year. Check our Events page to see what’s on the schedule right now. Like us on Facebook to hear about future events on our properties.
