Aug 28 – Fall Native Wildflower Arrangement at Monarch Meadows Nature Preserve

Date: August 28, 2021
Time: 7:00 pm  to  9:00 pm

Just in time for Fall: Join us on August 28, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Monarch Meadows where Cari Beggs, owner of The Rustic Petal in Greensburg, will take us through choosing, cutting, and arranging wildflowers in bouquet arrangements.  Cari will “walk” you through bouquet building, a history of the farm (that’s now our nature preserve) and then set you on a walk through the native wildlfower meadows to choose and cut the flowers you want in your arrangement.  Then you’ll come back to Cari to get assistance to make your arrangement, which you will take home with you.

RSVP Required: Click here to RSVP.

Cost for the workshop is $15, to cover the cost of Cari’s time and expertise.  Water will be provided for your arrangements.

What do you need to bring?  A quart jar or vase of similar size and any clippers or scissors that will cut stems, including small woody stems. And of course a water bottle for you!

This workshop is for people of all ages. Children must be supervised by an adult – note that you’ll need a separate ticket per participant, regardless of age, but you can have a blast working together on your own bouquets. Bring a friend and make it a fun night “out”side.
