Sept 15 – Photo Workshop in Madison

Bring your phone or point-and-shoot camera for a fun, hands-on workshop to hone your photography skills. No fancy cameras allowed. This is a chance to learn to capture the beauty of everyday life in Indiana – our communities, natural areas, and farms. We’ll learn from nature and farm photographer Joshua Marshall. Kids of all ages (and people of all skill levels) are invited to these free events.

Sept 15, 10-11:30am

Meet at the Madison Farmers’ Market, at the Intersection of Broadway and Main in Downtown Madison. Oak Heritage Conservancy, the host of the workshop, will have a booth set up about their nature preserves and upcoming events in nature. The workshop will meet at the fountain and focus on taking photos at the farmer’s market. Kids are encouraged but must have an adult accompanying them.

There’s also a workshop in Lanesville, IN on the afternoon of Sept 15 and another workshop in Charlestown on Sept 28 – check them out!

This event is funded by the Indiana Arts Commission and a partnership with George Rogers Clark Land Trust. #artinIN #conservation
