Bring your phone or point-and-shoot camera for a fun, hands-on workshop to hone your photography skills. No fancy cameras allowed. This is a chance to learn to capture the beauty of everyday life in Indiana – our communities, natural areas, and farms. We’ll learn from nature and farm photographer Joshua Marshall. Kids of all ages (and people of all skill levels) are invited to these free events.
Sept 15, 4-5:30pm
Meet at Lanesville Heritage Weekend, a fall fair for all, at 2800 Memory Lane, Lanesville, Indiana. The Land Conservation Program booth will include info about land conservation and farmland preservation, George Rogers Clark Land Trust (our partner on this project), Oak Heritage, and info about our 3rd Annual Photo Contest! The workshop will meet at the booth (find it by going along the creek, on the midway side of the craft booths). We’ll focus on taking photos of things we find at the fair – livestock, people, and nature. Kids are encouraged but must have an adult accompanying them.
There’s also a photo workshop in Madison on the morning of Sept 15 and another photo workshop in Charlestown on Sept 28 – – check them out!
This event is funded by the Indiana Arts Commission. #artinIN
