April 17 – Wildflower Walk at Lebline Woods Nature Preserve

Join us to see the Bluebells!

This riverside forest has been home to acres and acres of bluebells since the 1800’s. Today, they are protected as part of Lebline Woods Nature Preserve, which we proudly protect – and invite you to enjoy.

Our nature preserve is just north Seymour, Indiana. There is no parking area at the site, so we’ll meet at 5:30pm at the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts (92001 N Ewing St, Seymour, IN 47274). We’ll carpool and caravan to the preserve to save on parking space.

Bluebells stretch as far as the eye can see at this riverside preserve. We’ll hope to catch the Bluebells in full bloom, but if not, we’ll look for other spring wildflowers and have fun in the forest.

The hike is over flat terrain, but there is no trail on the property. Expect to hike over vines and around brush. Bring a friend, a water bottle, your camera, and bug spray.
