Join volunteer Aimee Graves for our monthly “casual hike” – a time to enjoy and explore an Oak Heritage nature preserve.

In July, we’ll visit Monarch Meadows Nature Preserve, near Rising Sun, Indiana. The community helped protect this special place – and now you can enjoy it.

We’ve decided to try an early morning walk to beat the heat. Meet at 9am, at the preserve. Enjoy a one hour walk before church or your Sunday plans.

To find the preserve, use Google Maps: just enter “Monarch Meadows Nature Preserve” or enter “2287 Dibble Road, Rising Sun, Indiana” into your GPS.

Be sure to bring:

• A hat for the sun.
• Bug spray and sunscreen if you want them
• Water bottle
