My husband and I attend the Hilly Hundred Weekend Bicycle Tour, held in Ellettsville, IN each year. We usually stay at McCormick’s Creek State Park in one of the cabins. This year we came a day early just to spend time in the park before the weekend bicycle event. On Sunday of that weekend, we were packing up the cabin and getting ready to go ride the 2nd day of the Hilly Hundred. There was thick fog and the sun was just starting to break through. I paused to look at the sun rays in the trees. It was so beautiful I just had to get my camera and take some photos of the scene before me. It was a serene and beautiful natural view of the forest and the sun rays made it special. This has become one of my favorite photos of the weekend and a great way to start the last day of the weekend.
