Carrie Shumaker – Family Farm near Greensburg, IN

The apple tree was planted by an uncle who was visiting during the summer. He planted two trees in the back yard and both have done very well. The family farm where the trees are planted has been in my family since it was started in the 1820s. My dad and three uncles now own the farm. I decided to take this photo because I liked the way the sunlight was shining on the apple.
