McCormick’s Creek State Park

This was taken on my first visit to this lovely park. I spent 2 hours exploring the creekbed area just around The Falls searching for fossils, amphibians, reptiles, and any other critters I could find. This is a popular spot so getting the “perfect” picture took awhile to avoid other visitors in the shot or disturbing their pictures as well. The whole park is an adventure, but The Falls is peaceful and supports many species. If you take the time to explore, you can see so many things in a such a small area!
