Mark Wilcoxson – Dunes State Park

Sellersburg, IN is about 250 miles from Dunes State Park in Chesterton but the 4 hour drive is nothing compared to the beauty of the area. This photograph is a pre-dawn shot from Porter Beach looking into Dunes State Park. Sunrise this day was around 7:00am. I am an early riser so a 5:30am wake up call was not a problem. I was on location for about 3 hours absorbing the beauty that is the Dunes. The reflection of the pink sky on placid Lake Michigan is mesmerizing.
