I took this shot in late June at Clifty Falls State Park. My husband and I were hiking on the north most trail, heading west . We walked along the north end of the park. When we crossed the creek, the sunlight was amazing and pulled us off our path. We walked north, up the creek, and saw the turtle, already watching us. He was bathed in a golden afternoon glow. It was one of those moments you know, will not come your way again. We felt so privileged, to share it, with him.
