Join us for an informal Open House where Oak Heritage staff and volunteers will share information about our newest nature preserve and provide guided hikes of the nature trail recently built by Oak Heritage’s summer interns.
The story of Glenwood Knobs and Oak Heritage started in the spring of 2020 when D.J. Hines, a member of the real estate development group TBD, LLC reached out to begin the conversation. TBD, LLC was planning a 160-acre residential development now known as Glenwood Farms. In addition to the streamside mitigation projects within Glenwood Farms, TBD, LLC offered to donate 44 acres of steep forested property. This 44-acre natural area, Glenwood Knobs Preserve, features a nature trail, and serves as a wildlife corridor to nearby forested properties.
Glenwood Knobs Preserve is located at the end of Cooks Creek Lane – at the cul-de-sac adjacent to 5065 Cooks Creek Lane, Sellersburg, IN 47172.
