About this event

Help celebrate a new trail at one of Oak Heritage’s nature preserves. Webster Woods is home to towering oaks and tulip poplars, a creek, vernal pools, ferns of all sorts, and native spring wildflowers….and we expanded the trail system so that you can explore this preserve’s beauty and diversity.

Ribbon cutting at 12:30, nature journaling at 1pm (details here), and family nature hikes at 2pm. Free and kid-friendly!

The new trail at Webster Woods is possible because of support from our members, as well as generous grant support from J&G Fox, the Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County, and the Duke Energy Foundation.

Our interns, staff, and volunteers have built this trail with sweat and care, under the good guidance and hard work of the crew from Groundworks Ohio River Valley. We can’t wait to celebrate this successful trail build, and show you the new trail!
