About this event
Discovering the Extraordinary in the Ordinary
Wander and wonder with us at Hilltop Farm’s restored pollinator habitat to discover some extraordinary insights between pollinators and the flowers they serve.
Come wander and wonder with us at Hilltop Farm Nature Preserve’s restored pollinator habitat as we discover some extraordinary insights into the relationships between pollinators and flowers. This program is for all ages. We will embark on a personal, guided hike through the restoration to get an intimate view of the habits of pollinators and how flowers are designed to attract pollinators. Please bring hand lenses, binoculars, journaling materials or anything else that helps you discover natural history of pollinators. Afterwards, you are free to explore and make connections on your own. Hilltop Farm has mowed trails and open habitat, so please wear appropriate shoes and dress accordingly. You will need to hike a little ways (almost a half mile) from parking to get to the restored site and trails.
Driving directions to the preserve: 28797 Stout Road, West Harrison, Indiana 47060.
You can drop in anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
